Devote time, energy, and resources to God’s work
•We are stewards (care-takers and not owners) of what we have.
•It belongs to God, and we worship Him in giving of those resources he has given us to the work of the Church both inside and outside the Church’s schedule of activities.
Encourage obedience to Jesus Christ in purposeful ministry
•We believe that we are saved by the grace of God, not our works, but that God has specific plans for each of us to do good works as a result of the change He has brought about in us.  [Ephesians 2:8-10]
•We believe God has uniquely made each of us and has given us both spiritual and natural gifts, talents, and experiences that will help others.
•We seek to take Jesus’ commands seriously, including the call to “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you…” [Matthew 5:44]  This has led us to find multiple ways to serve & seek peace through non-violent means.
Value Christian community and healthy family relationships
•We believe that discipleship in Jesus Christ cannot be lived out in isolation, but rather in committed relationship with other believers, living out mutual forgiveness and reconciliation.  [Hebrews 10:24-25; Ephesians 2:19-22; 4:29-32]
•We are called to speak and show the love of Jesus Christ to one another including practicing mutual aid with one another as there is need.  [1 John 3:16-18]
Accept the Bible as relevant truth
•We believe the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit and is our relevant and authoritative guide to faith and life.
Serve God by acting on behalf of others
•We show that we love God (whom we cannot see) by showing love, in word and action, to those around us (whom we can see.) [1 John 4:19-20]
Engage in active witness of salvation in Jesus
•By our words and actions (corporately and personally) we seek to share the truth and love of Jesus with others.
Believe Jesus Christ is the Savior and Lord
•We worship the one God who is eternally Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
•Jesus is the Son of God and the one through whom we are reconciled to God by his death and resurrection.
