Adult and Young Adult Education
At Huntington we believe Christian education is important for all ages–children, youth and adults.
Our bottom line is for every person to grow in their relationship with Jesus and to connect with others.
One way to do this is to become involved in Sunday School where there are opportunities to explore issues of faith and Bible teaching in an in-depth way.
Adult education is supervised by Lewi Blosser.
Library
The church library has approximately 3,000 books. Topics include adult and junior fiction, children’s books, Christian living, apologetics, Mennonite faith, biography, teaching and Bible study, small group materials, DVD’s plus many others that help to give inspiration, teaching, guidance and encouragement to those who are members and regular attendees.
Small Groups
We believe that Christian formation – developing a lifestyle that reflects our commitment to Jesus – happens best in small group settings where study and conversation can occur. Acts 2 shows us a vision of Christian formation focused in four areas – teaching, fellowship, sharing meals and prayer. Huntington has a number of ongoing disciple groups from which you can choose. We encourage participation in at least one group per year. You will find Bible studies, men’s breakfasts, prayer groups, and service groups among our offerings. Contact the church office or check the calendar for current meeting times and locations.
Worship
We interpret the Bible from a Christ-Centered point of view. Discipleship leads to worship, and worship leads to discipleship.
